The candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of Procurement strategy for both Commercial & Industrial and Residential projects, across the Country.


Location:
Hyderabad
Reports to:Operations Head
Travel:Moderate

Experience:8-10 yrs with atleast 2 year in a people management role


Roles and responsibilities:

  • Development of Vendor evaluation, grading and engagement strategy to create pre-qualified vendors for equipment and services relating to construction of Solar Power Plants
  • Build on existing vendor relationships
  • Cost-optimization- Overall responsibility for timely, cost effective acquisition of high-quality materials and services to meet project quality and budget requirements
  • Support Design team in pre-sales costing and proposal preparation
  • Involved in negotiation of contracts/ contract terms
  • Implementation and continued execution of streamlined logistics processes and ensuring on-time, errorless delivery of solar system components
  • Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Risk Mitigation-Visiting suppliers for capacity assessment & identifying additional vendors for supply of critical parts.
  • Maintain and update records of vendor database, purchases, pricing, and other important data
  • Update project procurement and logistics updates on project management software
  • Responsible for Team management, development, and engagement.


Mandato
ryRequirements:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with a stint in a similar role. Candidates with prior experience in Solar will be preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel.
