Customer US Technology : Health & Wellness - Creating Frictionless End to End Omnichannel Customer Journey – Store Pharmacy experience, Digital Pharmacy App, Data insights to power Vendor Cost Management for EDLP and Pricing Excellence for EDLP makes our customers smile and our developers proud!

The Customer US Technology Health & Wellness team at IDC owns several areas of the Pharmacy Experience at Store, Online for Pharmacy, Health Clinics and the cloud powered backend framework, platform and business logic. We are responsible for architecture, design and delivery of programs within the areas we own. At IDC We work on Backend Technologies hosted on in-premises private cloud, Public Cloud Hosted and Applications across rWeb, Android and IOS for Walmart US market. This eco system uses Core java Technologies, Azure Cloud Technologies, React.JS,

React Native, Node.JS, Java and powering Complex transactional and Big Data Systems.

Your Opportunity:

As a part of the Customer Technology Health & Wellness initiative, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team that is being built to transform 60+ billion dollar business on technology front and power business innovations to take business to next level. With over 5500 stores and a vibrant business that is catering to millions of Customers, product roadmap is focused on Tech transformation using cloud based technologies while enabling business to venture with new & innovative business models with special emphasis on agility, scale and elegance of solution.


Your Responsibility

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you would be responsible for:

  • Help define Technical Roadmap and own the entire product delivery end to end.
  • Work closely with product designers, product managers and other engineers to deliver great experiences to our customers, leveraging your strong understanding of iOS SDK, API design and mobile engineering good practices.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration and continuous improvement within the team through participation in retrospectives and feedback.
  • Improve, optimise and identify opportunities for efficient software development processes
  • Hire, Develop and Retain a strong team of engineers

Your Qualification

  • An Engineering Degree - B.E/B.Tech/MS/PhD in any stream – Computer Science preferred.
  • 11+ years of relevant experience with the following skills
  • Proficient in Swift & iOS SDK. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Hands on experience with different architectural such as MVVM/MVVM-C, VIPER, Audio/Video, HealthKit, Animation, location Frameworks.
  • Experience in multithreaded programming, profiling, and memory management.
  • Exposure to XCTest, XCUITest, Combine, CI/CD pipeline development via Jenkins, Fastlane, Swift UI, Cocoa Pods and/or Swift Package Manager.
  • Experience managing large team and understands release process, monitoring, and debugging.
  • A good understanding of CS Fundamentals, Data Structures, Algorithms and Problem Solving
  • Understand the product and project management space with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong people management skills including hiring, growing, and mentoring managers, leaders, and engineers.
  • Experience evolving and presenting a strong vision/roadmap for your team
  • Passion about your team’s mission and the self-starting personality to make things happen
  • A record of accomplishment of delivering results even when requirements are under-specified
  • A strong partner who can simplify complex technical concepts and effectively collaborate. Ability to influence leadership and stakeholders
  • Ability to drive continuous improvements to the business processes
  • Attention to detail, Excellent judgment, and ambitious standards
