Sr. Developer, Global Innovation

We actively seek a Sr. Developer, Global Innovation resident in our Hyderabad, India office.

Position Summary

You will be part of the Global Service Innovation Team and involved in building cutting edge tools and platforms for Global Service Delivery division of Rimini Street. You must love technologies and should be Solution Thinker and Problem Solver for this role. You will work on designing and developing the innovative solutions for our Service Platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead technical designs and develop service innovation tools and platform
• Test and propagate the code changes to our Innovation development environments.
• Perform code reviews
• Support and resolve issues related to production service applications
• Perform data analysis on service data and identify trends and patterns
• Use and be the go to person for technical expertise on tools and technologies
• Mentor junior developers in the team

Additional Duties and responsibilities

• You will also be responsible for unit testing, code reviews and propagating the code changes to our Innovation development environments.

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Science

• Hyderabad, India

• Minimum 8 years of experience as software developer in the industry
• Minimum 6 years of experience is required in technologies using PHP, Python, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, CSS/ HTML and MySQL/ MariaDB
• Additional experience with Salesforce or ServiceNow applications is preferred but optional

• Must have designed business applications for service industry
• Experience with PHP, Python, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, CSS/ HTML
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Experience with complex SQL writing (MySQL or MariaDB)
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and mentor junior team members
• Deep commitment to test-driven development
• Proactive, self-motivated lead developer with strong initiative and a desire to succeed
• Must be 100% hands on
