TSO Storage and backup team works across two platforms –Storage and Distributed Backup Systems for all ETG supported data centers.

Team works on incidents, changes and service request which are assigned by command center or automated systems and PA&E (Platform Architecture and Engineering) team.

GS team will be responsible to provide support on the following products and technologies - EMC Storage (VMAX/VNX, VPLEX, ISILON, XtremeIO), SAN Switches, NAS, and Replication (Recover point, SRDF), Commvault, EMC DataDomian, EMC Avamar using the SAN management tools. Storage engineers will participate in DR test as and when scheduled. Team will also provide On call support.
For P3 to P4 incidents, the team will be responsible for end to end solution. However for P1 and P2, GS team will be working in collaboration with the situation manager(SM) for troubleshooting the issue as and when required.
