Position: Category Manager Beauty & Wellness
Location: Head Office Noida

Role Objective:Develop and execute Brand Vision, Purpose and Visual Identity, where to play How to win sstrategies to deliver against business objectives, with a challenger in Beauty & Wellness mentality to win in a fast pace environment. Set and deliver short and long-term initiative masterplan in collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Production and Marketing and lead initiatives in the masterplan to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of New Product Development
  • Build an assortment plan that meets online and store needs.
  • Launch new products and ranges, with a lead in market potential, competitiveness, and desired product quality.
  • Outline the essential story to drive marketing campaigns.
  • Regulate the pricing of products basis the market competition study and margin controls .
  • Work very closely with other teams by presenting new upcoming or prevailing ideas in the industry on regular basis.
  • Onboard vendors and negotiate to get best discounts & margins for products , roll out consecutive sampling and production process.
  • Own key metrics like Category Contribution %, Gross Margin, Sell-through.
  • Supervise and monitor the reorder levels for overall inventory.
  • Defining SOPs of various functions like customer returns, packaging, TAT for delivery etc. by coordinating with the vendors and respective cross functional teams.
  • Outline quality check parameters and keep in line with Legal Metrology regulations.
  • Structure New Products launches and trainings.

Candidature

  • MBA in Marketing /Graduate from relevant subjects with minimum 6 years of experience with at least 3 years of experience leading the category independently.
  • Strong product understanding Working knowledge of Cosmetics/beauty, fashion and social trends that are relevant to the continued evolution of the business, experience in Category Management and/or retailer or distributor/vendor collaboration.
  • Capable of influencing and persuading a broad range of decision influencers and decision-makers; particularly effective insensitive or high-pressure situations.
  • Must be able to analyzes and interpret internal sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Ability to independently organize and prioritize workload within a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
