We are looking for a Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming experience in WordPress CMS. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. As a WordPress Developer at our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins. We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the business requirements and translate the requirements into website specific solution design specifications.
  • Represent as team leader during lead discussion and build relationship with our clients.
  • Perform all the necessary actions to improve UI /UX.
  • Perform all the research about the themes, plugins as per the client s requirements.
  • Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code
  • Perform all the requirements necessary to support and optimize website.
  • Ensuring cross browser and cross device compatibility and performance.
  • Communicate continually with the client and project teams and explains progress on the development effort.
  • Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface or new technologies.
  • Collaborate with other team members.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap4, JavaScript and JQuery, MySQL with experience in building advanced responsive layouts.
  • Strong Knowledge of WordPress CMS and WooCommerce with ability to do themes and plugin development and customization.
  • Knowledge of existing inbuilt functions of WordPress CMS
  • Strong adherence to best practices and experience in UI/UX implementation strategies.
  • Knowledge in CMS security and Optimization (Google Page Speed, GTMetrix, Caching, CDN, GZip etc)
  • Knowledge of repositories like GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket will be added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge in Linux and Windows based server. Knowledge of AWS or Google cloud will be added advantage.
  • Expertise in cross-browser compatibility support.
  • Expertise in building Responsive Design and strong competencies with design patterns.
  • Experience working with clients to understand their requirements and implement optimal solutions.
  • Ability to streamline releases and maintain code quality.
  • Testing websites after development and fixing any bugs.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Knowledge of other CMS like Opencart, Magento will be added advantage.
