Position Summary

CORE BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Core Business Operations (CBO) is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients’ core business issues. CBO provides a gamut of consulting services spanning advisory, implementation and operations. CBO has four different offerings — Application Modernization Innovation (AMI) delivers end-to-end technology and application solutions to enable and improve our clients’ core business operations. We do this in a truly modern way leveraging the best of innovative technology, people, and delivery approaches to help you dream, explore, and build your future. Cloud Engineering focused on end-to-end cloud services from migration strategy into transformation and cloud operations; Core Industry solutions focused on industry vertical, sector specific solutions that drive operational change and automate the core of the business; and Operations Transformation focused on creating a flexible, innovative business model for clients supported by a strong operations foundation. CBO serves clients across Life Sciences and Health Care, Government & Public Services and Financial Services among other industries.

Analyst/Consultant:

As a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for quality assurance on large-scale complex software solutions at enterprise level. These applications are often high-volume mission critical systems that would provide you an exposure with end-to-end functional and domain knowledge. You will work with business, functional and technical teams on the project located across shores. You will be responsible to independently lead a team, mentor team members, and drive all test deliverables across project life cycle. You will be involved in end-to-end delivery of the project from testing strategy, estimations, planning, execution and reporting.

Work you’ll do:

  • 3-6 years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer
  • 3-6 years hands on modern engineering experience (GIT, AWS/Cloud, CI/CD automation, TDD)
  • Exposure and understanding of Blockchain, Ethereum, Libra or other distributed systems
  • Experience in at least 2 languages / frameworks primarily Java, Python, JavaScript, React and Swift
  • Exposure to AI/NLP and voice systems such as DialogFlow
  • Full stack: Mongo DB, Java Spring Boot & React (native/js)
  • Experience and/or interest in Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies
  • An interest for asset management, including working hands on with portfolio managers, research analysts, and others
  • A passion for emerging technologies, tinkering, learning and teaching others
  • Excited to help us build iOS mobile & desktops using React JS & React Native for the firm
  • Willing to learn and share with others on the team and a great written and verbal communicator
  • Professional experience in using core Technologies Java , J2EE, Servlets , JSP, JDBC, JavaBeans , JavaScript, JNDI, HTML, XML, Web services, AngularJS, Bootstrap framework, Jquery .
  • Good experience on working with Amazon Web Services like EC2, S3 , Amazon Simple DB , Amazon RDS , Amazon Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon SQS , AWS Identity and access management, AWS Cloud Watch, Amazon EBS and Amazon Cloud Front.
  • Experience in working with Struts framework , Hibernates, and MVC architecture.
  • Worked on Hibernate for mapping the java objects to relational database and SQL queries to fetch the data, insert and update the data from the database.
  • Expertise with using Oracle, SQL Server , MySQL databases and writing SQL and PL/SQL queries.
  • Well experienced in functional and technical systems analysis & design, system architectural design, presentation, process interfaces design, process flow design, and system impact analysis and design documentation and presentation.
  • Experience in working on MVC pattern using AngularJS, creating user interface and single page web application.
  • Extensive knowledge in database transactions management for database related changes by integrating JDBC, Hibernate with spring boot.
  • Having good Knowledge in NOSQL data base like DynamoDB and MongoDB
  • Experience in design and maintenance of database platforms like JDBC and Hibernate .
  • Experience in UNIX/Linux shell scripts for data-driven automatic processing.
  • Selecting the appropriate AWS service based on compute, data, or security requirements.
  • Experience in Integration of Amazon Web Services AWS with other applications infrastructure.
  • Experience in developing application using TDD (Test Driven Development) & Unit testing process.
  • Experience in writing ANT, Maven build scripts, providing logging facility using Log4j and Writing JUnit test cases.
  • Good experience in SCRUM process of Agile (Iterative) development methodology.
  • Setting up AWS Oracle RDS databases for new project, use data pump to migrate data to Relational Database Services (RDS).
