Job Description:
To assist HOD in maintaining the HSE & other ISO management systems and its continual improvement.To assist in all internal and external audits of ISO Management systems & documentation.Report/ Carry out detailed incident investigations.Conducting Risk Assessments, JSA and assist to develop the SOPs/ ERPs, preparation of various safety instructions.6. Preparing event calendar and coordinating and participating in emergency response drills conducted on-site and to improve the preparedness for an emergency.
Act as a driver for implementing allotted engagement programs.Main the CIR / Hazard / Snapshot records on the Portal update. Ensure follow-ups and timely closure of all outstanding actions.Arranging various HSE promotional programs, competitions, monitoring interventions, continuous awareness programs, S&E celebrations, safety awards, toolbox talks, HSE rounds & interventions.Arranging for OHSSE committee meetings, Contractor’s meetings, the plan of actions from the meeting and follow-up for closures.To assist in compiling HSE weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, corporate reports and presentations.Conducting site safety round and establish controls based on hazards identified to manage risk to acceptable levels.Monitoring of Video Analytics System at MICT, assist duty officers for any support, sharing the deviation, preparing the monthly report and prepare the action planAct as an HSE UDR and managing HSE-related administrative work which includes coordination with vendors for HSE-related works, PR creation, Bill Processing on Oracle.Record measure and communicate progress on BU KPI performance throughout the organization & maintaining Safety statistics and trend analysis for monitoring HSE performance. Prepare Safety statistics and trend analysis for monitoring safety performance of both BU’sManage KOMRisk Legal Compliance related to Safety for both BU’sImparting Safety and skill-based training in coordination with Executive / Senior Officer (Safety & Trainings). This includes – preparation and delivery of training modules, safety induction trainings to new recruits and contractors, refresher training to contractors.Maintain records of the training, certification, and assessment of employees. Liaison with departments for nomination and participation of staff for training.Coordinate PTW requirements.Attend departmental coordination meetings.Assist employees in closing their tasks in GHSE Portal.Compliance with BU & HSE standards & Standing OrdersDevelop self and maintain knowledge in the relevant field at all times.Undertake all tasks and responsibilities assigned by the HOD/ Manager – HSE Qualification
Graduate in any field/Degree or Diploma in Engineering with Diploma in Industrial Safety with at least 5 years work experience in Safety Management and Training. Knowledge of ISO and other International Standards related to Quality, Environment and Occupational Health & Safety.Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications.Bilingual in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Gujarati will be an added advantage.
