Roles and Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities –
Ensure smooth operation of Thermic fluid heater integrated with steam generator
Ensure smooth operation of Furnace oil fired boiler
Ensure safety & Statutory compliance of the entire utility section, which include annual
shutdown, boiler inspector visit during shutdown, critical equipment hydraulic/pressure &
thickness testing along with calibrations of critical instruments.
Ensure monitoring of KPI’s like CO2/Energy & water
>99% Uptime in all the utility section including boiler, air compressors, chillers & cooling
towers
Managing AMC with various vendors & ensuring time-based maintenance of all utility
equipment
Chiller uptime >99% for two plants, refrigerant monitoring & reporting consumption
Handling DM water & drinking water plant.
Steam generation & Fuel consumption monitoring with monthly reporting to central team
Managing Fuel stocks & ordering according to ROL/ROQ
Handling of A/B Class certified boiler operators & manging all three-shift manning
Maintenance of fire hydrant system for the entire plant
Ensure training compliances of the employees
Ensure safety compliances individual & for plant
Routine repair management for upkeeping of the assets
Execution of various Capacity/Savings/Environmental project with 100%OTIF.
Conduct risk assessments for areas specified which would include THAs, equipment risk
Ensure modification notes are made for all changes in processes and operations
Conduct investigations of all incidents, accidents, and non-conformances in own area of
control. Develop remedial measures and ensure that these are implement in the given time
frame
Ensure Ordering/invoicing/vendor payments on time (Though various online portals)
