Roles and Responsibilities

  • Should have knowledge of APQP process, Quality Management systems like IATF 16949 / VDA 6.0.
  • Should have been involved with purchase team in selection (pre-sourcing) and development of suppliers for Press parts, casting, forging, machining.
  • Should have worked with the supplier in development phase of new products, conduct process development, tooling development study and approve the same.
  • Prepare timing chart, participate in preliminary PFMEA-Control plan and process reviews at supplier end, conduct PPAP and run at rate trials and approve the supplier for mass production.
  • Participate in risk analysis meetings with purchase and supplier team and resolve the same.
  • Review and approve part validation report along with the project team.
  • Handover newly developed parts along with complete documentation to plant SQA.
  • Prepare and execute supplier audit for sustenance of QMS and technical capability.
  • Identify and plan development of weak suppliers.
  • Should have knowledge of MSIL/HCIL/VW/FORD procedure of supplier /sub-supplier development audits and conduct the same independently or as a team with the customers representatives.

    • Desired Candidate Profile

    1. BE Mech / Automobile graduate having the experience in OEM or Tier -1 automotive company in Supplier Development & Quality Management System Background with 07~10 years of experience

    2. Preferably from Casting/Forging/Stamping/Machining Process Background

    3. Good knowledge of Supplier development and Quality Assurance

    4. Good Communication skills - Hindi Preferred
