E-Merge tech is seeking MDM or MRO Material Engineer to assist clients of fortune 500 companies.

Need to work collaboratively and independently together on projects and also assist in acquiring new clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

Standardizing and enriching MRO item descriptions
Searching of part numbers with reference to master data
Data Sourcing – able to search the information about the part number from manufacturer and supplier website
Standardization of Material Descriptions using class and classifications
Knowledge of Standardizing and enriching MRO item descriptions
Assign the input data to appropriate UOM, Material type, UNSPSC Coding logic
Capture appropriate attribute values and provide abbreviation
Validate the Master Data (Noun Modifier, Template, UOM, Material Group, Material Type)
Ensuring that Collected Missing information are appropriate for items
Identification of Duplicate items, based on same specifications-Generic items and Part numbers etc
Skills
Proficient in Electrical & Mechanical parts
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in web search
SOP Preparation
Team Handling, Training
Required Qualification
2+ years of experience in Materials Master Data Management (MDM)
BE – Electrical or Mechanical
Good Knowledge and working experience in verticals such as Petrochemical, Telecom, Construction etc.
Self-motivated, results oriented individual with strong interpersonal & team work skills.
Strong experience in Material Codification, Classification and Data Cleansing.
