Roles and Responsibilities


Involved in creating, maintaining and communicating safety related policies and procedures as well as ensuring that they are followed across North zone.

Perform regular jobsite inspection of all crews in order to identify any unsafe work practices and conditions, documenting the visits on observation forms and forwarding findings to various administrative and management personnel.

Prepare and monitor inspection checklists for firefighting, housekeeping, MHE, Racks, Water tanks, transformer, DG and overall warehouse safety (helmet, shoes, jacket, gloves etc.)

Ensure readiness of firefighting equipment at all times.

Periodic facility fire inspections.

Getting fire extinguishers charges regularly, verifying that first aid kits are properly stocked.

Conduct regular safety training & drills etc.

Assist QA team / operation team / clients with ISO audits and other miscellaneous audits.

On call 24/7 for emergency response.

Ensure there is zero tolerance for non-adherence to safety procedures.

Implementing and documenting for ISO processes.

Responsible for reporting product related complaint (s) to PISPL-QA & Principal Company-QA immediately / within one working day.

Responsible for implementation of revised or new QMS processes. Responsible for ensuring record keeping as per SOP : Control of Records.

Responsible for raising change control whenever any changes are being carried out in the facility.

Responsible to ensure a safe workplace.

Responsible to ensure Health & Safety policy, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.

Responsible to ensure the company identifies and meets its legal and other applicable requirements.

Responsible to conduct safety meetings and trainings.

Responsible to ensure all accidents, near miss, hazards, incidents are reported, documented, investigated and recommended improvements are implemented.

Responsible to prepare emergency preparedness plan and increase awareness among employees by conducting mock drills.

Responsible to identify risk assessment i.e. HIRA is carried out considering routine and non-routine activities and increase awareness among employees for the same.

Authorized to liaise with external agencies for health and safety parameters.

Responsible for achievement of EHS Objectives.

Authorized to report EHS performance.

Authorized to stop unsafe work.

Authorized to prepare health and safety documents e.g. manual, procedures, work instruction for site.

Responsible to achieve 0 loss time injury.



Desired Candidate Profile


  • Graduate and PG Diploma Fire & Safety Engineering Management
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Understanding of the SOP
  • Well-versed with MS Office
  • Ability to prepare & analyse reports
  • Willingness to take additional responsibilities
  • Ability to identify hazards in own work areas
  • Ability to achieve EHS objective
  • Ability to handle and take responsibility related to Safety norms / measures in warehouse
  • Team working ability
  • Prior Experience in Chemical/Logistic Industry.
