The position / About the job:

Key Responsibilities in this role:

  • Visit existing Alfa Laval customers in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh.
  • Advise customers on Preventive/ Predictive maintenance of Alfa Laval equipment & generate Parts Sales enquiries including upgrading of existing equipment’s.
  • Develop & execute key account plans to expand customer base and customer share in the allocated region. Reach and maintain volume & profitability targets as per agreed KPIs.
  • Resolve customer’s problems/ queries
  • Safeguard price level according to pricing guidelines and give customer as well as market feed-back into the segment.
  • Manage key accounts and build good long-term customer relationships at all levels.
  • Ensure coverage of IB (Installed Base) & continuously provide inputs to update the IB. Cooperate with service operations and new sales to secure customer satisfaction.
  • Secure and maintain Service Agreements, AMC with key customers.
  • Promote Service Agreements, Service Offerings to build long term relationship with selected customers.
  • Cooperate with Service Operations and Capital Sales colleagues to maximize the business.
  • Frequent traveller within the allotted territory.

Who you are?

As a Area Sales Manager based in Indore/Raipur location for our Food & Water Sales team you would be responsible for total customer ownership of allotted territory.

What you can be?

  • B Tech/ BE in mechanical/ Chemical/ Metallurgy or equivalent experience
  • Degree in marketing or communication would be an advantage
  • 5-7 years of experience in Sales of Rotating Equipment Spares & Services.
  • Good knowledge of Alfa Laval and competitor Products and Applications.
  • Preferred industry: Pump, Valve, compressor & engineering products
  • Must have experience in working with F& W industry like edible oil/pharma/distilleries/sugar/starch/diary
  • Strong attention to detail, natural curiosity with ability to problem-solve creatively
  • Exceptionally effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
