Technical Specialist - Movex

We are already providing IT-services and support to Alfa Laval companies around the world and we are now expanding the operations to meet future demands.

Alfa Laval has invested in a ‘Global IT Delivery Center’ in Pune with the vision to expand and deliver IT-services as an extension to our global teams located in Sweden, Denmark and USA. We focus on cost-effective solutions and improved performance to create a unique Alfa Laval experience!

Who are you?

• We are looking for a Movex – Specialist (Programmer/Technical with Functional knowledge) within the DSO (Distribution & Sourcing) value stream .
• As IT specialist, you will act as Solution Architect and programmer, team member. You will have close collaboration with our Product owners and agile Scrum team, to design the end-to-end solution.
• Person should be an experienced technical consultant with extensive knowledge of the Movex ERP System.

About the job :

• Good understanding of the solutions, systems and technology within their area and level of expertise.
• Perform regular support, maintenance and administration of solutions, systems and technology within their area of and level of expertise.
• Operational execution of activities within their area and level of expertise.
• Analysis, design, develop, build, configure, test and deploy changes to optimize existing solutions and ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the design documentation to agreed time, cost and quality within their area and level of expertise.
• Project management of activities, deliveries or smaller, less complex projects, depending on experience

• To support live sites and involve in new demands & project requirements
• Work hands on with improvements in prioritised solutions: - PULSE
• To act like an application programming specialist (sales and warehouse management) in value stream, projects and other ERP related initiatives .
• As a specialist within the DSO value stream you will be working closely with other Specialists ,Solution Mangers and Architects to solve problems for our end customers, other value streams, deliver changes from smaller enhancements to bigger features and projects .
• Participate in analysis, design and support of both new solutions and already live solutions and systems .
• You will be working closely together with the business and IT projects to specify the technical specification, programming as per needs, participate in analysis, design, build, test, deploy and support of the solutions.

• The position is located in Pune, India.

Candidate Profile :

• Person should be an experienced technical consultant with extensive knowledge of the Movex ERP System
• Important characteristic is a clear understanding of technology
• We believe that this person is driven and optimizing processes to improve efficiency and quality with strong business focus. An analytical mindset with attention to details. Effectively prioritize and execute tasks.

Personal Background :

• You must have at least 8-12 years of post qualification experience in IT-industry
• Must possess an exceptional level of intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility and flexibility.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Should have excellent communication skills and to be a go to guy.
• Should be comfortable to say ‘No’ when needed and to put away the point in structured way
