Engineer - IT

Department: Corporate IT

This position requires demonstrable hands-on system hardware, software and O/S support experience(including installations, configuration and troubleshooting) with exposure to a wide range of products, issues and customer types.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Taking care of the entire IT infrastructure at Airmesh
  • Installing, configuring & updating OS & other applications
  • Handling installations of all types of hardware & software along with maintenance of workstations, laptops, storage devices and peripherals
  • Implement security tools and practices across servers and applications/services
  • Managing Antivirus tools, Definitions, Live updates
  • Resolving queries & providing technical support to all the users whenever required
  • Inventory & Assets Management
  • Communicate with vendors and service providers to ensure all the services are functioning normally and are cost effective
  • Maintaining inventory details of all the IT assets
  • Maintain and update technical support document, IT reports & policy
  • Addressing issue with SLA (Laptop repairs, Server OS installation, Networking knowledge), Asset management, Vendor Management.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent with a relevant experience of 5
  • years

Excellent knowledge of Desktop OS (Windows 7/8, Ubuntu/Linux and OS X) to Install, Configure and troubleshoot end user problems. Microsoft certification will be an added advantage
  • Experience in working or knowledge of Microsoft office 365
  • Should be able to understand overall user requirement and be able to come up with most effective solution
  • An advance understanding of technical issues, both hardware and software
  • Board understanding of networking technologies both wired and wireless
  • Must be willing to work in a fast paced start-ups
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills along with interpersonal skills
