Position (Designation):Business Application Executive
Dept/Division: IT
Grade: JM3
Location: HO, Mumbai

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure reliable, consistent and uninterrupted application services for Marico Business as stated in the Application Roll out plan. The role will have focus on applications in IT and its domains covering Mobility and Enterprise wide applications.

Qualification & Experience

  • Preferably MBA (from tier 2/3 institute) with 4-6 years experience
  • Experience in understanding business processes and understanding and able to convert to IT requirements (SAP and non SAP applications)
  • Sound Business process knowledge and process design skills in Procurement & Manufacturing processes
  • Exposure of SAP Modules like MM, PP, QM & WM and their integration with SD, FI,CO Modules

Key Deliverables

  • Key interface between between business users and convert them to application requirements
  • Monitor the operations and support IT processes in Manufacturing, and procurement processes
  • Work closely as interface with Business and suggest appropriate applications
  • Serve as an point between the Business function and internal IT (Applications / Infrastructure) for the resolution of problems, complaints and service requests related to applications.
  • Collaborate with Consulting Organizations or IT Development team and ensure timely development and deployment of Solutions and related Applications in procurement areas
  • Provide expertise, guide and instruct end users of the applications, ensure correct SOP adherence, train members and enable easier adoption
  • Ensure Functional designs, functional unit testing plans, and integration test scenarios as well as executing thetests including data loading and validations
  • Ensure project communications and participate in project steering reviews

Key Competencies:

  • Should have good functional knowledge of Supply chain, manufacturing and Procurement processes
  • Should be well versed with SAP modules like MM, PP, QM & WM Etc .
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal with ability to convert data into clear and concise messages for end users
  • Good Understading of Project Management
  • Able to Multi-task and work under tight deadlines
  • Good MS-Excel Skills for analysing data

  • Upwards:Manager – Business Applications
  • Downwards: Team of consultants
