About the job

The FPD-Link Product Line is seeking a highly qualified Development manager to drive new product development from roadmap definition, product concept, design execution, post silicon test and validation to production ramp support. This position provides a unique opportunity to work on leading edge FPD-Link™ serializers and deserializers for a variety of video interfaces across automotive systems, including cameras for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and infotainment displays. We are looking for a motivated individual to join a cutting-edge team driving the development of next generation SerDes PHY for state-of-the-art Self-driving, Autonomous Vehicles, and networking products. The individual should have experience leading a team of 40+ professional and knows how to challenge the team to achieve flawless execution of releasing differentiated products, while maintaining strong working relationships with worldwide teams. Experience successfully delivering multiple generations of mixed signal high speed products is desirable.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead a cross functional team ~ 40 Engineers
• Team ramp and career planning
• Product development – collaboration with Systems and Marketing for product definition, Design, collaborate with Test and Validation, Product Engineers for Qualification and co-work with Program Managers for overall execution, for products such as (but not limited to) FPD-Link™ serializers and deserializers for ADAS and Infotainment
• Articulate roadmap ideas, strategize on long term plans, provide status updates and conduct reviews with senior management, collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation in technology, methodology improvement and predictable execution.
• Risk Management

Requirements:

• Proven track record of releasing successful products to market
• Experience in managing cross domain team to achieve goals
• Experience in developing mixed signal high speed products like SERDES
• Experience in product development flow starting from product definition to production release
• Experience in recruiting and developing world class team. Managing career growth and aspirations of the team
• Ability to manage multiple product developments simultaneously
• Customer facing experience is desired but optional
• Knowledge of processes, reliability, packaging, manufacturing flows is advantageous.
• 3+ years of experience designing for Automotive quality standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
