Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for production based on the plan.

Responsible for resources like manpower, tooling, materials, equipment and floor to fulfill production task.

Responsible for implementation of Casters training plan.

Responsible to Prevent, find out, analyse, resolve problems on site. Prevent safety accidents and quality issues to avoid wastage.

Analyse production data and define areas of improvement.

Responsible to inspect and supervise 7S, kaizen and TPM activities, and share achievement.

Conduct regular staff meeting. Evaluate technicians performance. Tighten relationship with team members and enhance team building.

Finish any other assignment from higher level of management

Continuously work on development projects

Achieve production targets in terms of yields like green & fired efficiencies, production numbers and adherence to plan.

Continuous reduction of assigned defects

Process control and good work-practice on the shop-floor

Discipline and work-culture on the shop-floor.

Safety on the shop-floor.

Making and implementing Standard Operating Procedures for all jobs in the Casting function.

Reviewing, updating and continuously improving all SOPs and process-control parameters wherever necessary.

Organizing small-group activity for process improvements, 5-S, ISO activities etc on the shop-floor.

Team-building in his department to improve employee morale, ensure effective communication & encourage initiative in order to achieve company objectives. team;
