Key responsibilities:

• The willingness to roll up sleeves and be visible across the work location rather than implement by memos and delegation

• The comfort of working in a matrix structure and dealing with ambiguities that such a structure brings

• The ability to connect, influence , inspire and align colleagues to the company and HR strategy.

• To manage the day-to-day HR operations from Onboarding to end of employment activities and maintain HR Partnerships while participating in implementation & be advisor of Local HR & Division Strategy;

• Effectively manage employee relations issues, grievances and all disciplinary procedures in line with Firmenich Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

• Workforce planning for business in close collaboration with HOD’s to identify manpower needs.

• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, Firmenich Fundamentals and Firmenich Code of Ethics and Business Conduct. Liaison with local statutory, regulatory authorities.

• Focus on Diversity and Belonging initiatives and ensure local and global goals are achieved.

Guardian of Firmenich Social Accountability Standards at FIRGUJ and Firmenich employer brand in the region and also compliance and take care of audit requirements like IMS, Safety and compliance etc.

• Responsible for data integrity and clarity in SAP.

• Responsible for support in payroll and salary administration and time keeping

• Master’s in business management or Administration, Human resources or related field

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience with few years in manufacturing site

• Good team player, that can work well in collaborative environment, with passion for people engagement

• Effective communication skills and able to develop strong relationship

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
