Job Title: Manager I (Area Manager)

Summary

Amazon is a highly data driven company highly passionate about its customers. In this context it is vital to ensure the customers always get their orders on time and with quality. The processes at the FCs are largely manual involving large numbers of associates. One of the most critical roles is that of an Area Manager is to mentor/guide the PAs and associates towards ensuring meeting the customer expectation by following our standard work practice keeping safety & quality in mind.

Job Deliverables
  • Daily Management of shift:
  • Administrative management of PAs and associates
  • Job allocation to PAs and associates
  • Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality and safety.
  • Monitor status of counts and problem solve queues
  • Responsible for running shifts, shift quality and associated action plans
  • Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates
  • Ensure 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basis
  • Stand-in for ALE Manager /Ops manger
  • Be capable of running shifts independently during both day and night.

Basic Qualifications

Graduate with atleast 2 years experience in relevant domain. Candidates from manufacturing/Production background would be preferred. The candidate is expected to have good written and verbal communication skills. The candidate is also expected to have experience in handling a workforce of 10-15 pers at the floor. He is also expected to work in flexible working hours and night shifts.
Preferred Qualifications

A self-motivated person with the ability to motivate the PAs and associates.
  • Good people management skills.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Amazon system or similar systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good deep dive abilities
