Designation: Electrical Maintenance

Reports to HOD

Job Dimensions (Objectives):

To maintain the healthiness of machines for its continuous availability for flawless production through optimization of materials, training of manpower and upkeep of machines. Motivating workers to build safe and healthy work culture. Ensuring operations align with company policies and procedures.

Qualification:B.E Electrical

Experience: At least 4 - 8 years

Skills:

• Sound knowledge of PLC’s, RIO, Drive.

• Management of Personnel Resources - Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.

• Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

• Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

• Operation and maintenance of field instruments.

• Use of problem-solving techniques (Familiar with Quality circles, TQM, TPM, 5S)

Responsibilities:

 Inspection of all mill motors, drives, Transformers, HT/LT panels

 Checking and analysing the delays through process data acquisition system and software program checking and find out the root cause and take necessary corrective action. Preparing FIR/ RCFA for the delay

 Shrouded DSL Maintenance, Alignment checking DSL bus bar, Joints inspection and tightness

checking, All DSL supply Pilot lamps inspection and cleaning

 PDA healthiness - Ensure all connected signals for proper working

 PLC Backup - Programmable logic controller backup for Utility, Die machining equipment, LR lines, Furnace etc., Sharing knowledge of Know-how of programmable logic controller software

 Ensure Communication between PLC, RIO’s & Drives, and also ensure proper working of all network topology

 Software programming changes required by different agencies working in department for smooth operation of equipment’s

 Checking and verify the equipment functioning as per process requirement

 Co-ordination with MSDS (Main Step Down Station)

 Ensure safe work environment through implementation of safety standards.
