• Should be able to timely release the purchase orders in SAP as per requirement, with correct specifications ensuring the right price, right quality and delivery at the right time.
• Experience in handling imported cargo will be advantageous.
• Should have experience in maintaining records of documentations for future references.
• Should have experience in managing and scheduling of direct/indirect materials as per inventory /MRP requirement.
• Should have capability to maintain unambiguous and clear communication with internal and external parties.
• Should be conversant with the general purchasing process and documents management system as per IATF/ISO requirements.
• Should be able to organize on time availability of Indirect/direct/consumable Parts (Tools, consumables, Mechanical Spares etc) as per Indent/prices/lead time based on requirement.
• Conversant with communication with suppliers to get the quotes/prices, compare/evaluate offers and recommend proposals.
• Should be able to understand the importance of PO terms, specification of orders and legal terms of supply contracts.
• Need to be proficient with MS word/Excel/PowerPoint/ SAP or any ERP for information reporting.

• Manage import function of the plant through dedicated compliances and interactions with parties involved.
• Manage the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the material planning activities of direct/indirect materials by coordinating with suppliers/plant operation teams.
• Ensure timely availability of various imported materials and direct/indirect raw materials as per plan and advice from purchase head
• Manage the inventory levels of direct/indirect and key raw material accordingly to changing manufacturing plans.
• Comply with the company’s effective policies and ethics, maintain an untarnished integrity.
• Import/Export procedure/ planning/scheduling/ follow up/ clearance/documentation.
• Excellent Verbal & Written communication
