Job Description

Test the products to ensure that the application performs to the written functional requirements/specifications.
Communicate with the QA Test Lead on test status progress, update, issues, and risks.
Designing and executing test cases for new applications and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development life cycles.
Ensure that testing activities will allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Conduct all types of manual application testing as needed, such as system, regression and acceptance testing.
Analyze formal test results to discover, document and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and inter-operability flaws.
Test the software application/product. Independently perform root cause analysis.
Documents test results as per the standards.
Defect Tracking Giving mandatory information of a defect to developers in order to fix it
Preparing Summary Reports and documents from the previous project testing experience
Preparing Suggestion Documents to improve the quality of the application.
Report bugs relating to the application, verify bug fixes provided by developers.
Identify innovative techniques and ideas to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and/or reduce the time required to accomplish the requirements.
