Your field of responsibility

As part of the role, your responsibilities include:

  • Drive initiatives around Front Office (FO) Supervisory Controls through an effective monitoring & reporting framework.
  • Coordinate team in FO Exception Monitoring, follow ups, deep dives & analysis, and Reporting of key FO themes across Investment Bank & other divisions.
  • Work closely with First & Second Line Controls in delivering a robust Risk and Controls Framework; including the RCSA process, Ops Risk Management - Incident, Issues & Action tracking.
  • Assess & enhance the FO controls to ensure they are in line with the policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategically partner with Controls colleagues on Change Projects & Regulatory Engagements.
  • Seek to support ad-hoc requests from business, internal & external auditors.
  • Participate in various Governance & Business forum and present MI.

You will work within the Specialized Business Support team within Cross Division Controls Platform - a challenging & dynamic work environment

As a member of highly innovative and collaborative team, responsibilities include designing new controls, enhancing existing controls to ensure it meets the regulatory and policy driven requirements. Support FO Management reporting, Exception monitoring & follow ups, Tyrekick investigations & MI reporting around FO supervision, deep dives, Pre audits, investigations & analysis etc.

Your skills and experience

You are expected to possess the below:

  • Professional qualifications of a Post Graduate, preferably CA or MBA – Finance.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Investment & Private Banking domain.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with an eye for details to actively identify potential inconsistencies.
  • Excellent problem solving skills along with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load, adapting to changing & flexible work environment.
  • An outstanding communicator and team-player, as you will liaise with FO traders, management and teams globally.
  • Understanding of Investment banking products, Risk & Controls will be an asset.
  • Experience in Regulatory & Front Office Supervision reporting will be preferable.
