About the Job:

Ethosh Designs is currently seeking a 3D Generalist for its 3D Design department. This role focuses on high-resolution modeling, texturing, cg lighting and rendering for videos and technology projects. As a CG Generalist you should be able to achieve a high level of quality with skills in modelling, texturing, shading, lighting and compositing. Often you will be lighting and rendering shots so a keen sense of lighting and a creative eye is valued. In this role you will have a high standard of quality control and be able to composite shots in a basic manner to ensure correct hand off to 2D.
You will have the ability to problem solve, predict where issues may lie in tasks given and proactively seek out solutions that may arise during projects in production.

Responsibilities:* *

· Model, texture, light, and render high resolution assets using Blender 3D, Substance and Photoshop.

· Adding detail and resolution to models for commercial use

· Optimize models and textures to meet the specifications and make it compatible for mobile devices

· Integrate 3D assets into composites to create visually engaging art pieces

· Collaborate with Artists and Project Managers to ensure smooth deliverables

· Participate in art reviews and respond to critical feedback in a professional manner

• Leads the solution with broader area and able to connect with customers expected experience
• Capable of eliciting requirement from customer and setting of customers expectation making sure that designed product fulfills customers objective.
• Must be able to work in a collaborative and team based environment
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet team deadlines

Must have Skills:

• Strong understanding of CG techniques and technologies
• Strong knowledge of the 3D assets ( Model, Textures, Lights, Animations, Rigging) and associated pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Organic and hard-surface modelling/lighting/FX
• Strong understanding of light, color and composition

• Proven experience using 3D software in a production environment

Must have software knowledge - Blender, Maya / 3Dmax, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine.

Modeled various art assets using 3D software for use in a virtual platform

Good to have skills:

• Attention to detail in all aspects of UV Mapping, textures, and lookdev
• An eye for color, contrast, value, detail and good lighting principles when creating textures and materials
• Be able to adapt and work in an iterative environment

Candidates having experience working in 3ds Max / Maya will have to undergo training for Blender 3d.

Salary: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
