Position : Customer Care Representative for North American market
Location : Predominantly work-from-home (preferably Bangalore)

Job Summary:

The customer care representative will work as part of the NA sales team. In this position, the customer care representative will accept customer calls, process orders, process emails, and work with the E-store. The customer care representative primarily with the sales departments and directly with the customers to build relationships with customers (internal and external) resulting in improved business results. The customer care representatives will use techniques to engage customers, improve efficiencies, and grow the business. This position requires computer knowledge and manual dexterity. This position requires the ability to read instructions represented in manuals and follow these instructions. Work will be predominantly from home. Shift hours to match north American market.

Essential/Key Functions:

  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
  • Correspond with customers and suppliers as needed
  • Maintain proper records of all forms of transactions relating to the companys operations
  • Provides technical assistance to customers and/ or customer care
  • Prepares reports as needed
  • Initiates purchase orders and amendments for parts, services and/or special tools; arranges for submission and inspection of sample products as required;
  • Performs the functions of a CSR to include initiating and following up with to sell or resolve problems, answer questions and correspondence, and complete reports.
  • Prepares, processes, reviews and monitors various documents such as purchase orders and other documents.
  • Contacts current and prospective customers to sell and explain products, perform account rounding and solicit new business within the market area.
  • Prepares and presents proposals and quotes and recommends products based on customer needs.
  • Assists customers and arranges payment terms in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Performs in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
  • Creates and maintains computer files for follow-up action.
  • Provides advisory support and assistance to the department supervisor as needed.
  • Provides administrative assistance and support.
  • Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and operate in a safe manner
  • Physical presence on the job is essential and necessary including weekends and holidays if deemed necessary by the company
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:
Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate / Technical / Graduate in any stream
  • Fluency in English both spoken and written

Experience

1 to 3 years in similar function, preferably handling US or Canadian customers

Remuneration
