  • This role develops and executes the product and portfolio strategy for two key portfolios within Elektas Linear Accelerator Business Line. (1) Continuous Engineering, which is the essential program of improvements and (e.g.) obsolescence projects necessary to support an installed base of >4000 Linear Accelerators in global markets. (2) Defining and executing the strategy for intra-operability with selected 3rd Party technology providers to ensure Elekta has a comprehensive customer offering within a broader RT / Oncology ecosystem. This role ensures end-to-end success of the project and programs, taking the various business inputs to the portfolios (e.g. from RA, Operations, 3rd Party technology providers) and deriving strategic priorities to be reflected in planning. This role has end-to-end responsibility in collaboration with the Program Lead for defining success criteria for the products and dynamically managing a complex portfolio with numerous dependencies within fixed resource constraints. Responsibilities
  • Key stakeholder in Engineering / Project resource allocation ensuring that business objectives (with candidate projects received from relevant stakeholders) are translated into executable, prioritized projects within the continuous engineering portfolio. (e.g. Obsolescence management, functionality improvements or upgrades, cost / reliability programs) Responsible for overseeing the generation of product requirements and related business cases to support the prioritization and efficient execution of the programs. Defines with stakeholders the overall Vendor Interoperability Program and ensures delivery of relevant distribution / cooperation frameworks to ensure Elekta customers can access a comprehensive ecosystem of best-in-class products Champions continuous improvement with Elekta business processes related to the prioritization, planning and delivery of new and improved products to market. Contribute to Design to Value, Design for Service etc. agendas across all relevant functions to maximize profits and minimize total costs of ownership. Actively works with customers, customer working or focus groups, to gain and validate requirements and strategy. Actively monitors the health (quality, margin, cost, etc) of the various products in the portfolio and acts when appropriate. Work with Marketing to coordinate commercialization activities where relevant with the sales regions, identifying and providing evidence for key value propositions. Monitor delivery of products according to product specification, on-time, within budget and quality takes active role in project review milestones as owner of the business case. Owns Obsolescence Planning for the broader portfolio from Product Management perspective. Authorities
  • Owns VIP process and required agreements / frameworks to ensure success and efficient execution of strategic 3rd Party Program. Owns core documents such as Customer Requirements Specification & related Business Case. Prioritizes feature backlog / project priority at PI planning Signs off product related approvals such as Product Information Query (PIQ), ECR (Engineering Change Request), NORD as assigned and Non Standard Request (NSR), requests for new manuals or for translations. Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies
  • Relevant degree with at least 5 years experience in Radiation Oncology, ideally in business or operational role. Knowledge of core products in radiotherapy (Linear Accelerators, Patient Positioning Systems etc.) Demonstrated track record as an international senior product manager or other relevant role in the medical device industry Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assimilate complex issues and convert them into actionable, clear business plans Results driven with a strong track record Project management capabilities and able to act in a project team as integrator of technical and commercial views Proven leader, building capability in teams Excellent skills in verbal and written communication in English, other languages are a merit Collaborative mindset as impact needs to be driven without formal authority across functions Persistent and persuasive behavior to own and drive cross-functional initiatives.
