Job Description

Operation of the boiler with maintaining the desired parameters and calculation of the W/F ratio on day- to- day basis.
Maintaining and updating the log book with all the parameters on hourly basis.
Transferring of FO to DOT from main FO tank.
Removing of clinker and cleaning of burner gun and filters.
To take up with plants officers for their requirement of steam pressure.
To take up with maintenance crew to carry out the maintenance work.
Dosing of chemical in the BFW and sending of samples of BFW & Blow down Water to Lab for analysis. To carry out field testing BFW & Blow Down Water & take the corrective measures in consultation with the Engineer in charge.
Apprise the engineer about the operations of boiler and consumption of FO & efficiency on day-to-day basis.
Recharging of the Softner/Cation/Anion and MB units.
Checking and taking the corrective measures for maintaining the parameters for anion water, DI water, filter water and soft water.
Operation of bore well pumps, maintaining and updating the log book and sending of water samples of softener, cation, anion and M.B. units to lab for their analysis. To carry out field testing of Anion, DI, Filter & soft water and take the corrective measure in consultation with Engineer In-charge.

Qualifications

Diploma with First class certification in boiler
