Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Farm Supervisor to oversee our agricultural operations. As a Farm Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day activities on the farm. You will be in charge of supervising farm workers, ensuring that they adhere to safety protocols and implement best practices in farm management. This role is based in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India, and is a full-time position with an employment type of ’Full-Time’.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Mid-Level: 4 to 6 years of experience in farm supervision or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of farm management techniques and best practices
  • Experience in crop management and knowledge of local agricultural practices
  • Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using farm equipment and machinery
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate farm workers, ensuring that tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively
  • Monitor and maintain farm operations, including crop management, irrigation, and fertilization
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain records and prepare reports on farm activities
  • Collaborate with other farm supervisors and managers to develop and implement farm strategies

  • Provide training and guidance to farm workers
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
