Job Summary

The Liaison Officer with expertise in the Real Estate Industry will assume a pivotal position, establishing and maintaining positive relationships between Lokmanya Society and relevant government agencies, departments, and regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will leverage their profound understanding of government relations, coupled with their extensive knowledge of the real estate landscape, to ensure compliance, advocate for favorable policies, and foster effective communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between Lokmanya Society and government agencies, ensuring transparent and open lines of communication.
Keep abreast of evolving government policies, regulations, and industry trends that impact the real estate sector.
Devise and execute strategies to navigate governmental processes, securing essential permits, licenses, and approvals for Lokmanya Society’s projects.
Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Legal, Development, and Project Management to ensure harmony between business objectives and regulatory mandates.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within governmental bodies, fostering a constructive rapport and advocating for the society’s interests.
Identify potential regulatory challenges or opportunities and offer proactive recommendations to senior management.
Participate in industry associations, conferences, and forums to stay informed and actively contribute to policy discussions.
Prepare and submit requisite documentation and reports to regulatory authorities within prescribed timelines.
Engage in strategic planning and decision-making, providing insights on government relations to support Lokmanya Society’s growth and expansion.
Handle and resolve regulatory compliance issues swiftly, aiming for minimal operational disruption.
Making application under RERA & regular compliance thereon
Conduct regular briefings and updates for internal teams on regulatory changes and their potential impact on ongoing and upcoming projects.
Should be familiar with reading statutory documents in Kannada, Marathi and English
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business/ Commerce, or a related field.
A master’s degree is a distinct advantage.
Skill Set
Completion of an accredited communication studies program.
Former Liaison experience within a pertinent industry.
Ability to employ collaboration to promote the actualization of ideas.
Willingness to encourage the restoration of previously beneficial partnerships, where fitting.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexible, amicable, and community-oriented approach.
Adherence to designated procedural guidelines.
