PHP-Laravel Developer

Your qualifications

You must have:

• Over 1.5 years of Laravel experience with 3-4 years of demonstrable overall experience in developing software using PHP and related frameworks
• Knowledge of SOLID design principles
• Hands-on experience with MySQL/RDBMS, Doctrine/ActiveRecord/Eloquent ORM
• Passion for Agile and expertise in its processes
• Understanding of how code reviews work, why PSR is important, and what clean code should look like
• Outstanding communication skills to be able to liaise with vendors and product stakeholders
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Working knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS frameworks
• Understanding of basic CS concepts like common data structures, design patterns and algorithms
• Familiarity with Project Management tools like JIRA

In addition, it is good to have experience in the following:

• E-commerce
• Making contributions to the Open Source community and can showcase GitHub projects
• Caching techniques like Varnish, OPcode cache, Memcache, Redis
• NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Languages like Golang, Python
• Deployment automation
• Modern UI frameworks, Reactjs, Vuejs etc.
• Microservices architecture
• Hands-on DevOps expertise working and maintaining Linux Servers - SSH, DNS, Shell Scripting, etc., and optimization techniques for LAMP/LEMP
