What Data Governance contributes to Cardinal Health

Data Governance is responsible for the disciplined execution of governance programs and practices across all data.

• Applies knowledge and ability to define and/or operate against the vision/strategy of data and governance.
• Demonstrates an understanding of data governance modeling, tools, and practices.
• Identifies and manages data quality in alignment with the needs of the business and/or industry.
• Ensures complete protection of data with all policies as it relates to visibility and distribution.
• Identifies and communicates insights and potential upstream/downstream impacts and opportunities to customers, business and/or enterprise leaders.
• Exemplifies effective communication and change management skills to varying audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in related field
• Strong experience in related field preferred
• General SAP experience
• Converting data to a new ERP system
• Data analysis
• Data modeling
• Master data maintenance
• Trouble shooting production issues in an ERP (SAP preferably)
• Resolving IDOC failures
• EDI or LEI (LEI is a standard SAP function)

System Implementation/Conversion Related Support

• Mock conversion testing
• Production conversions
• Hypercare - System Implementation/Conversion team will troubleshoot initial issue and coordinate with our team to resolve

Operations support

• Manage EDI master data in SAP
• Work with IT partners to clarify requests. (Context: our IT partners receive the initial request and work directly with customers to gather all the requirements for the set up. They create the Service Now case that routes to EDI Master Data)
• Research existing setups in SAP to determine how to execute the requested setup.
• Set up new customers, EDI vendors, and establish outbound docs (850-Purchase Order, 810-Invoice, 832-Price Catalog, 856-Advance Ship Notice, 855-Purchase Order Acknowledgement)
• Research and resolve IDOC errors
• Translating LEI requests between Legacy and SAP values
• Executing LEI transactions
• Researching eligibility questions using LEI in hyper-care environment
