About the company:

MarksDzyn is a design house startup based out of New Delhi in the home design and decor space. It is looking at building a strong online presence and has already been featured in various dailies such as Deccan Herald, Yourstory.com, etc. Marksdzyn is looking at creating a vibrant, enthusiastic, and talented design team for the start-up.

About the internship/job:

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback 2. Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups 3. Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces 4. Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components 5. Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables) 6. Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) 7. Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience

Only those students or freshers can apply who:

  • are available for full time (in-office) internship
  • have relevant skills and interests
  • can start the internship between 9th Jul’21 and 13th Aug’21
  • are available for duration of 3 months
  • have already graduated or are currently in any year of study
  • Females willing to start/restart their career may also apply

Other requirements:

Must have a degree/diploma in design, fine arts, engineering, or a related field Must have prior experience as a UI/UX designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) Must be proficient in prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, etc. Must have basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills Must pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics Must have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions Must be a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
