Senior Graphic designer/ Design Lead

As a Senior graphic designer/design lead at HomeLane, you will be responsible for leading a design team to solve business problems through design. We are looking for someone who has the ambition to create category benchmarks, with an analytical approach to understand and break down the business problems and answer them with creative approaches and superlative design. This candidate should have a mobile-first approach to design with a strong foundation in UI & brand design.

Responsibilities
  • Creating and communicating concepts that intrigue and inspire multiple functions like brand, business, category, etc – backed up by smart rationale.
  • Designing layouts and finalizing artworks, storyboards, and initial graphic concepts.
  • Brainstorming and developing campaigns while working with the team and the HomeLane ecosystem.
  • Collaborating and partnering with writers and other designers to ensure that both the copy and the visuals are in perfect sync to make the concept as powerful, vivid, and compelling as possible
  • Break creative briefs into action plans and create collaterals for various marketing initiatives
  • Develop new graphics, GIFs, infographics, and layouts for advertisements
  • Create clutter-breaking visuals that inspire and awe consumers and partners
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Must put forward an impressive creative portfolio holding work experience of 4+ years
  • Good experience in Art Direction, Visualisation, and Conceptualisation, with a good command over website designing. Additional skills like HTML and video editing are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of mobile user interface, web design, and first principles of design.
  • Must have experience in Photoshop, Illustrator/Corel Draw, Flash, Figma, InDesign, and other Adobe software for creative design work
  • Well aware of the latest trends in design, web standards, concepts and must be keeping up with industry trends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good verbal communication skills & knows video editing & animation
  • A degree/diploma from a reputed design school will be an added advantage
  • Prior experience in a startup or a creative agency is preferred
