Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

"The position would have intense interactions internally with Sales, Product Development, Consumer Insighting, Strategy and Product Planning team.
The external relationship management would include interaction with Consultants, Media, Advertising agencies, PR firms. "
The Purpose of the role is to formulate and implement marketing and branding strategy for the domestic tractor business of Mahindra thereby ensuring achievement of sales volumes and strengthen the Market Leadership position
Responsible for marketing strategy formulation and communication for the business unit including product positioning, advertising campaign formulation and execution, other branding initiatives
Ensures achievement of sales volumes for the business unit by creating the relevant marketing programs
Provides direction to the creation and execution of market intelligence processes that capture and use relevant knowledge sources
Facilitates competitor and market analysis, developing key implications and strategic options for the business
Ensures market readiness for new brand and product launches and provides inputs on pricing
Ensures high level of customer relationship management and customer satisfaction, responsible for all major customer indices for the business. Ensures brand building and marketing for the business and interacts with media for the same
Performs the role of a people manager by managing and supporting recruitment, setting performance goals for direct reports and monitoring their performance, providing developmental guidance and direction as and when required
