Manager - Category www.myntra.comAbout TeamWommens wear is a steady pillar of the organization contributing to 24% of the external brands business.With an increased focus on men’s essentials and sports wear categories, looking out for a manager whowould be a good fit to the team and instrumental in driving the business.Roles and responsibilitiesRole: Drive the business for Mens wear in the relevant category with focus on growth and increasing themarket share. Manage relationships with brand partners & establish Myntra as the preferreddestination for customers as well as brand partners.Responsibilities Intake / OTB management Selection – responsible for merchandising, assortment planning, option plans pre-season as well asin season to ensure that the category is well represented Category visibility planning & interventions – plan brand level promotions & launches Identify gaps in product offerings & subsequently introduce / onboard new brands / categories Be an effective bridge between brands & internal teams for all communications Cross Functional Capabilities: Should be able to fruitfully coordinate with marketing, supply chain,cataloguing, finance / commercial and other functions of the organization Supervision and Monitoring of Operations: Should have prior experience or enough knowledge &confidence to manage merchandising operations, inbound planning, cataloguing monitoring &discount monitoringQualifications & ExperienceGraduate from NIFT or other reputed institution5-6 Years of relevant experience in Apparel buying / planning / merchandisingWillingness to learn, innovate, take initiativesExpertise in working on Excel and analytical platformsCustomer centric, creative & analytical problem-solving mindsetAbility to work as part of a team & collaborate with others while demonstrating leadership skillsShould be good at multitasking & critical thinking
