For Sartorius Stedim India Pvt. Ltd., We are looking for The Automation Manager to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be representing as a part of System Engineering Team under Advance Engineering & support in execution of Integrated Solution projects. He/she will be responsible for the deliverables of the Automation Technology team & contribute efficiently to meet the Company goals.

What you will accomplish together with us:

  • Efficiently lead a multicultural team, co-ordinate and maintain automation and engineering platforms to harmonize and optimize workflows.

  • Verification and review of technical automation work packages.

  • Resource planning, distribution & delegation of work packages during project execution.

  • Progress monitoring and ensuring quality & schedule commitments

  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders, supplier’s & partner companies

  • Accompanying customer FAT’s and SAT’s (Handshakes with different PLC platforms)

  • Inter departmental co-ordination for smooth deliverables.

  • Involved in Pre-sales activities (RFQ).

  • Responsible for the development of automation related specifications including Functional Specifications, Detailed Design Specifications, Automation Architecture schematics, etc.

  • Should have knowledge on different Automation platforms (Ex. Siemens, Allen Bradley, Emerson Delta-V etc.,)

  • Primary interface with automation suppliers to support quote development and project execution activities.

What will convince us:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in E&E / E&C or a comparable, activity-relevant education with sound professional experience in relevant to Automation Technology with 12-15 years of experience.

  • Should have professional experience in the Automation of Biopharmaceutical plants.

  • Should have a sound knowledge of Processes in Biopharma industries & Instruments used.

  • Should have hands on experience with Siemens devices (Ex. PCS7 integration, TIA, PLC, IPC etc.,)

  • Should have good knowledge in VB & C scripts.

  • Understanding of ISA-S88 batch standard and GAMP5.

  • Ability to interpret PFD, P&ID, FDS, Electrical schematics & detailed design documents.

  • Understanding of regulatory requirements associated with cGMP manufacturing.

  • Effective Communication skills in English and willingness to travel globally (approx. 20%)
