About the Job

You will be responsible for assisting the Mechanical Design Team in getting all mechanical components manufactured with the help of fabricators/vendors/manufacturers in Bengaluru.
You will be taking design requirements/drawings from the Design Team and going to local manufacturing units to get it completed.

What you will do:

  • Understanding manufacturing requirements from Design Team
  • Deciding what manufacturing operation is right from a quality and cost perspective
  • Finding the right vendor for the given manufacturing job
  • Buying raw materials from suppliers
  • Getting the manufacturing job done from vendors in Bengaluru.
  • Regularly following-up with vendors
  • Giving regular updates of progress of all Manufacturing Jobs

What you must have:

  • Understanding of all metal manufacturing processes like Lathe, Grinding, Welding, CNC Milling, Laser Cutting, etc.
  • Understanding of plastic manufacturing processes like Compression Molding, 3D Printing, Vacuum Casting etc.
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Good understanding of vendors in Peenya, Bengaluru
  • Ability to get work done from different vendors
