Analyst is required to manage backend MI Data loading, Rail Station Code Creation (RSCC) & Hotel Manual Match (HMM) processes, initially, for MI reporting and billing purposes. The transactional data (air, car & hotel) is gathered from global markets & is uploaded to CAP, post thorough checks & validations, within strict timelines. GSS analyst shall also manage & perform RSCC and HMM tasks. Required to update CAP tables and fields as changes occur to maintain data accuracy.

Job Description

  • Analyst is required to manage backend MI Data loading, Rail Station Code Creation (RSCC) & Hotel Manual Match (HMM) processes, initially, for MI reporting and billing purposes
  • The transactional data (air, car & hotel) is gathered from global markets & is uploaded to CAP, post thorough checks & validations, within strict timelines. GSS analyst shall also manage & perform RSCC and HMM tasks
  • Required to update CAP tables and fields as changes occur to maintain data accuracy

Key Responsibilities

  • With each inbound extract check/identify/report for compatible formats, missing data, anomalies, file type, date formats, number formats, invalid air, car, hotel codes, date range, duplication, no data procedures
  • Manage RSCC & HMM tasks or any process related tasks that Co-ordinate with global operations teams/depts./offices to ensure data accuracy
  • Maintain high level of quality and compliance scores Identify and drive operational efficiencies Work in tandem with the team to ensure that the SLA’s are met on a consistent basis
  • Effectively work and communicate with all departments and heads within GBT (all its affiliates) & EXL Services to fulfill business requirements in a prompt and efficient manner. Is team oriented
  • Share new insights and developments with team members. Commitment to team goals and deadlines
  • Work with peers to develop better procedures, solve problems and investigate issues. Loading files and managing rules / tables in CAP, Balancing and reconciliations of MI data for clients
  • Run reports, correct file errors, normalize data
  • CAP Updates & Maintenance activities Level 2 case support for post travel data issues Data loading, normalizing and managing data flows through processes into CAP Consolidations of various competitor data for customers single point of reporting for all travel transactions
  • Collaborate with all data sources to compile data flow and integrate into a single set of client data, establish reporting fields and format Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving & reconciliation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written Knowledge of GDS Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus is preferable
  • Strong ability to manage and accommodate demanding situations simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle confidential information Detail oriented with excellent follow up
  • Advance knowledge of MS Excel & Access shall is preferable Knowledge of CAP, GMAX, aXis @work & Outlook, will be beneficial 5 years of experience in client facing analytics and MI product support
  • Experience with travel data is highly desirable. Strong communication skills (written and oral) and experience with global customers
