At Maersk, we are accelerating our digital transformation journey to become the global integrator of container logistics - and looking for team players with a strong track record to help us drive the digital transformation and process re-engineering agenda. We are looking for a candidate to Continuous improvement (CI) team, reporting to Digitization and process improvement manager
  • A challenging opportunity involves engagement with multiple internal and external stakeholders

Key responsibilities

Identify business process problems in export import, logistics / transportation, supply chain, warehousing processes / operational activities

Conduct workshops with different functional groups to create best fit process in line with digitization technologies

Work towards identifying new market capabilities / start-ups in line with solutions required

Map and facilitate process design workshops with different functions
Drive process standardization across the area customer service function

Coordinate and review all customer experience functional excellence process activities

Working with cross-functional/ Cross Geography / virtual environment to drive the change

Multiple projects handling, leading Business outcomes improvement

We are looking for

  • 8-12 years of process re-engineering work experience using lean / six sigma and other problem-solving methodologies
  • Certified / Trained lean Six Sigma Belt / Black Belt
  • Knowledge of logistics and shipping industry
  • Aware / practiced Design Thinking tools implementation (good to have)
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools including MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills and bring process challenges to process stakeholders
  • Passionate to lead initiatives, driven to work with creativity and innovation.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Ambitious and result oriented self-starter on initiatives and strong drive on change management
  • Customer obsession, Customer experience driven
  • Resilient and committed
  • Mindset to co-create and co-own initiatives
  • Result oriented, can drive data / fact-based process change journey
