Role: Profitability & Allocations Developer - Corporate Technology
Desired Experience Range: 3+ years

Location of Requirement: Hyderabad
Must-Have:
  • 3+ years’ experience of Oracle Management Ledger Profitability, either on-premises or cloud.
  • Knowledge of Profitability and Cost Management (PCM) and ePCM (Cloud).
  • Understanding principles of Waterfall allocation and impact on data intersections for allocation process.
  • Experience with rule balancing reports/Essbase to identify unallocated costs.
  • Strong knowledge of Smart View for issue identification and resolution.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Familiarity with Automation / Integration tools to run end-to-end cost loads/drivers, allocation, and export to target applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical teams and business units. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

    Good to Have:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or related field.
    • Understanding of Essbase MDX would be beneficial.
    • Experience in a similar role within the financial industry would be advantageous.
    Prior experience with profitability and allocation processes is preferred.

      Detailed Responsibilities:
      • Develop and maintain profitability and cost management and management allocations processes.
      • Use Oracle Management Ledger Profitability for on-premises or cloud-based profitability applications.
      • Understand and apply principles of Waterfall allocation, including building allocation drivers as necessary.
      • Utilize rule balancing report/Essbase to identify unallocated costs and address these issues.
      • Utilize Smart View to drill down and identify issues on allocation.
      • Use automation / integration tools to run end-to-end cost loads/drivers, allocation, and export to target applications.
      Work closely with the Planning Squad Expense & Reporting team to achieve business objectives.
