About the Role
The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific Data center project which has a beginning( concept/design), an end( commissioning/handover) with specified deliverables.

1. Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
2. Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
3. Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
4. Develop a schedule & risk management for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
5. Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
6. Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
Key Responsibilities
Team Building
1. In consultation with the appropriate manager, recruit, interview and select staff and/or volunteers with appropriate skills for the project activities
2. Manage project staff and/or volunteers according to the established policies and practices of the organization
3. Ensure processes & compliances in confidential
4. Contract qualified consultants to work on the project as appropriate



Implement the project
1. Execute the project according to the project plan
2. Develop forms and records to document project activities
3. Set up systems & processes to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
4. Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
5. Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
6. Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

Monitor the project
1. Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
2. Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase


Control the project
1. Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis (monthly/bimonthly)
2. Ensure that all technical & financial records for the project are up to date
3. Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation


1) Solution Design recommendations, including optimization opportunities
2) Solution change management approval must consult with Engineering Head on major change.
3) Small Project pricing per DoA.
4) In consultation with Project Director, managing the cash flow
5) Approval of customer technical changes within DoA

Educational Level
Must have:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical or Mechanical
Working Experience
Must have:
At least 10 years of work experience and 4 years in Data center or related industry
Have extremely in depth knowledge of the DC components like DGs , PAC , UPS, Racks etc
Must have handled at least one 100Cr Project of similar of Data Center Build nature
Must have handled a team of at least 15-20 people on site
Must have handled both domestic and International customers
