Profile: Assistant Manager – Application Engineer EDM

Location: Delhi

Experience: 5 - 10 years

CTC: as per market standard.


My role is to make Phillips Corporation the best supplier of manufacturing technology there will ever be, by -

  • Ensuring that all our Business Makers are provided with the very best in sales technical support for Wire cut EDM Machines.

  • Ensuring that Phillips Machine Tools India Pvt Ltd has the best Application Department by providing my partners with answer to their applications inquiries, by providing phone support, visit to customer along with sales partners whenever needed, performing field work as needed.

  • I will prove my dedicated to the EDM measuring criteria by practicing open communication with management to help insure I am the best Application Engineer Phillips Machine Tools India Pvt Ltd has who is doing both Machine installation & commissioning on time.

  • Providing great guidance to our proposal estimators and generators to create world class proposals to our customers.
  • Requiring that all project stakeholders will always be up to date on each phase of each project: knowing what is expected and when relating to quality & productivity.

  • Planning work for all responsible projects to meet schedules 100% while providing a clear competitive advantage as to the quickness of the process;

  • Continually learning, understanding the latest in technological processes in machine tool solutions;

  • Developing and maintaining great relationships with all existing and potential suppliers of critical components with respect to technology, quality and delivery;

  • Being a role model in the use of the Phillips Machine Tools India Pvt Ltd Dialogue Solutions Process – always creating a clear competitive advantage and a "no-brainer" ROI.

  • Contributing mightily to the accomplishment of the mission of Phillips Machine Tools India Pvt Ltd and the mission/vision and cultural performance standard of Phillips Machine & Tools (India) Pvt. Ltd, and establishing our code of conduct as the basic value system of the company;

  • Being the great and worthy member of the project management team so that the team becomes clearly the best in the industry by any measure;

  • Being a role model users of myCDT, thereby causing myself and also my team to accomplish what they never believed to be possible;
  • Having at least one person ready, willing, and able to take over my job at any time and perform it better than I do;

  • Contributing to conduct effective HAAS control and application trainings in HTECH and support the customers & partners to perform better.

  • Conduct effective wire EDM application training & Coordination with team to schedule and conduct training batches.
