Job Description

The Engineer Electrical Design is responsible for carrying out Electrical design work and assist the team in specific tasks related to Engineering projects for Energy and Motion.
The Engineer Electrical Design is responsible to review technical specifications and performs following activities:
  • Schematics, harness, Wire table preparation
  • BOM and product structure creation
  • Technical documentation and customer documentation
  • Selects components such as inductors, capacitors, resistors, contactors etc. based on system specifications,
  • Perform simulations and prepares component specifications,
  • Performs cost analyses, evaluates and recommend components, devices and sub-contractors
  • Generates engineering reports & documentation,
  • Prepares high and low voltage circuit diagram & wiring tables, design wire harnesses,
  • Prepares component & wiring layouts & Supports prototyping & prototype testing activities.
  • Design of electrical cabinets inclusive relevant components / parts / products using various IEC/EN/DIN/ISO standards & test
  • Modelling & Simulation of converters, Selection and dimensioning of converter components, i.e. pumps, fans, blowers, heat exchanges etc. inclusive relevant standards
Required Skills
  • Knowledge on advanced/recent developments in Electrical engineering field.
  • Knowledge of power converters and Electrical drives
  • Product Safety as per EN 50126, 50128 & 50129,
  • Tools, viz. E-base, E3, PDM, MS Office, etc.
  • Good understanding of quality assurance and procurement processes, viz. SEAP, PPAP, FAI, etc.
  • Knowledge of departmental activities i.e. Quality, Production and maintenance activities.
