Job Summary :

Deputy Manager should have experience working with onshore management team to understand long terms vision and involve in resource planning activities. He should work as a Scrum Master/Product owner to define release scope and planning.

Others Mail pointers include:

  • Working with architect team to define project architecture.
  • Work with team leads to track the progress of deliverables (QA/CPV/Production deployment timelines on track)
  • Raise a risk and mitigation plan for any risk identified in deliveries
  • Making sure quality of deliverables is as per project standards and all standard practices are being followed.
  • Tracking team’s progress against the goals and drive the appraisal process.
  • Working with vendor partner to onboard team members and making sure that they are onboarded smoothly.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Contributes to strategic plans/vision and organizational objectives, responsible for execution and end to end delivery.
  • Develops standards and gains acceptance and approval for policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to application designs to ensure projects are aligned with standards and overall Digital and analytics strategy.
  • Performs agile project planning and resource allocation to ensure on-time project delivery with highest quality standards
  • Provides expert technical and functional leadership and problem resolution to agile teams to ensure delivery of quality and value in agile analytical projects.
  • Coordinates with multiple cross-functional teams and suggests solutions in support of technology needs of the business unit or function served.
  • Allocates appropriate resources and raises risk in timely manner to ensure that projects are completed within committed time and budget and are integrated with other software applications.
  • Monitors and controls project progress, objectives and costs against the established schedule and budget
  • Maintains working relationship and coordinates with several teams within organization to integrate project with other applications and/or initiatives to support the overall Company initiatives
  • Develops standards and gains acceptance and approval for policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates communication about project status to all levels of the organization.
  • Prepares and/or provides budget input for ongoing and future expenditures, monitors budget performance, and provides forecasts.
  • Monitors departmental performance against budget.
  • Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, career development, coaching, performance management, pay determination and team communication.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is management through one or more managerial levels. This includes:

  • Direct supervision of full-time/contract employees including managers, technical team leads and individual contributor positions;
  • May have indirect supervision of other full-time management and/or individual contributor positions.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

Required: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar area of study. 15 years of relevant IT experience and 6 years prior leadership experience required.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

Preferred: Project Management Certification, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, or equivalent.
