Graduation or post-graduation in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 6 to 12 years of experience in finite element analysis (FEA) especially in turbomachinery domain.
Experience in product design of turbomachinery i.e., Gas turbine, steam turbine will be preferred
Experience in performing static/dynamic, transient, linear and non-linear thermal and thermo-mechanical analysis of gas turbine static & rotating components (eg: blades, vanes, combustion, rotor, casings etc.,) using commercial software such as Ansys & Abaqus
Experience in Rotor dynamics is an added advantage.
Performing low cycle fatigue, high cycle fatigue and detailed fracture mechanics assessments of Gas turbine static & rotating components.
Performing high temperature creep assessments. Understanding of Creep-Fatigue interactions.
Documentation and presentation of FE analysis results in design reviews.
