Yara Farming Solutions, will lead the transformation towards more sustainable and efficient food production, by innovating our offerings and the way we work. Crop and Digital Solutions (Portfolio within Yara Farming Solutions) is responsible for developing and scaling new “on-farm” digital and integrated tools and solutions for an efficient and transparent food system. We believe that Yara Farm and Field Data Platform is a step in that direction to help shape future tools from Yara. This platform is a unified data store, data science and analytics processing and API serving platform that shall be used by stakeholder across Yara Farming Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Business Intelligence Support Engineer would be a Customer Success champion

• Guide and support Data Analysts and engineers within Yara’s Hubs (Berlin, Singapore, Bangalore etc), to build and maintain BI Reports and Dashboards

• Yara data team may hit roadblocks when they face issues using Yara’s preferred BI tool – MS PowerBI. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to connections, updates, building reports and dashboards, access control, collaboration

• Suggest ways to optimize query performance with MS Power BI and help with best practices to pre-aggregate data in Datawarehouse/data source

• Coach Data teams in Data Analysis best practices and proper use of version control and management

• Participate in Data Profiling, Data Cleaning and Quality Management

• Promote the use of features available in Yara Farm and Field Data Platform through Documents, Videos, FAQ guide

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a field related to a computational science
• 5+ years’ experience working as a BI Analyst/ BI Support Engineer
• Expertise in MS Power BI, MS Excel and Azure cloud
• Experience working with SQL databases
• Understanding of the infrastructure requirements for successfully running Power BI Services
• Hands on experience in metadata management, data modelling, data analysis, data integration tools
• Have played Customer Success role in the past
• Preferable experience in Agriculture Technology domain
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Experience in Agile (Scrum) way of working
• Experience of working with cross-geography teams
