The opportunity of eGov domain involves handling of Govtech business at Pan India level and driving Business leadership with excellent results in improving overall performance by building teams, project pipelines & devising penetration strategies. Deep management skills and good field operation record for handling IT projects and services, Governments, SMEs and large corporate houses and exposure to E-Governance, Smart Card, PoS, Mobility etc. projects and handling of E-Governance sector.


Key responsibilities include:

Strategic responsibilities:


  • Participated in Pre-Bid Meeting, Technical evaluation, Financial Bid opening meeting etc.
  • Direct selling and liaising to various State Government and Central Government departments.
  • Coordination with department and building up good and healthy relationship with clients for our active participation in tenders.
  • Attending review meetings in different Ministries like PDS, DOF, MEITY, UIDAI, NIC, DoT, Niti Aayog, etc. regarding running business activities as well as for new business developments.
  • Project monitoring related to projects under execution as per RFP, close watch over progress in quality of work, monitoring of progress and facilitating the stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and circulars for both internal and external distribution within stipulated timelines to assist in corrective actions or effective decision making
  • Liaising with the Vendors & other service providers on different levels.
  • Conduct & Monitor various trainings for, Field Engineers, Asst. Managers, Managers & other Operational team for smooth project execution.
  • Empanelment of company for eligibility to participate in various Govt mission mode projects.

1. Functional responsibilities: -

  • Managing E-Governances project, PreSales & Business development, tender documentation, Liaison with Govt, Product promotions, technical as well as commercial discussion, Co-ordination between the Head office and Regional Office
  • Offering product and solutions to Various Governments Departments like Food and Civil Supply Departments, Traffic Police, Department of Fertilizers, Transport Department, Transit for National Common Mobility Card projects, Municipal Corporations, Utility Payments etc..
  • Providing customized solutions as per the clients requisite needs.
  • Identifying opportunities for POS terminals in both payment and non - payment space.
  • Tender, EOI, RFQ, RFP management
  • To build excellent relations in the Government Sector-State Government, Central Government and PSUS.
  • Proficient to understand the compliance and local government rules.
  • Build and lead pan India team for building Govtech vertical for preasles, business development and liasoning

To qualify for the role, you must have: -

  • 15+ years in the field of E-Governance Projects.
  • BE-Electronics & Telecommunication plus Post-Graduation in Sales/Marketing with relevant experience. MBA will be Preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Strong written/verbal communications skills.
  • Should have eye to offer solutions through innovative approach.

  • Interact with Government officials at various levels across States and identify opportunities for the sale of Company’s products and solutions.
  • Establish excellent information & relationship network to ensure sustainability of business.
  • Creating a significant pipeline of government business within a short period of time.
  • Industry Specific Solution selling experience and dealing with C level clients.
  • Relationship Management / Key Account Management across all levels of the client organization with various stake holders and maintain account MAP.

  • New Vertical Penetration: Ability to build a Go To Market Strategy for penetration in new verticals as per company aspirations
  • Solution Sale: Execute end to end solution sale.
  • Recruitment & Training: Onboard, nurture, train and lead new team members
  • Process Adherence: To ensure use of IT Tools like SAP, CRM and timely reporting
