Project Manager- External Study Research

This role is responsible for managing interim and final deliverable for assigned external sponsored research, according to time, quality, and scope.

• Develop and maintain of robust project timelines for assigned ESR programs by demonstrating a clear understanding of the ESR program strategy, detailed project activities, and associated budget.
• Manage access in Visiontracker & create user profile in Visiontracker
• Assign resources (e.g., local External Sponsored Research Manager and reviewers) to External Sponsored researches
• Perform initial Quality Check of External Sponsored Researches submissions (Summary of concept, Study Online, & Protocol)
• Manage the workflow in Visiontracker (i.e., advance the External Sponsored Researches to the various review stages through protocol approval)
• Provide oversight on the execution of all External Sponsored Researches
• Responsible for capturing all the milestones
• Responsible for Periodic Data / Documents and Final Data/ Documents Quality Checks
• In coordination with the Program Lead oversee the ESR program budget for assigned programs, rapidly identify and manage variances, and address strategic resource re-allocation/budget challenges to ensure accurate forecasting and expense recognition, propose solutions and mitigation strategies as necessary to ensure project quality.
• Archival of External Sponsored Research
• Manage DIL SharePoint
• Provide monthly extract for Smartsheet Dashboard refresh

People

• Seek alignment with team members and key stakeholders to ensure integration and appropriate prioritization of projects across the portfolio, and compliance with approved processes
• Support team initiatives and objectives, identify and recommend process improvements and initiatives, and participate in company initiatives with the primary objective of adding value to the business.

Performance

• Conduct routine critical analyses of project objectives and deliverables to proactively identify potential risks and possible efficiencies, and ensuring resources, budgets and project timelines are optimized and realistic
• Track relevant project key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively identify issues and proposals to achieve the project plan
• Proactively identifies and evaluates alternative solutions to resolve/mitigate and escalate risks and/or issues as appropriate
• Contributing to the overall strategy by bringing operational expertise.
• Ensure operational excellence and compliance readiness.

• Maintain effectiveness relationships with the end stakeholders within the allocated Global business unit and product – with an end objective to develop training solutions as per requirement
• Builds and maintains solid partnerships with assigned internal stakeholders to better develop, coordinate, direct, and facilitate internal communications

Clinical Trial Management Experience

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., BS, MS, PhD, DVM) or a related degree, with substantial project management or drug development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in expanding roles in research & development or a closely-related field, including the current environment (pharmaceutical, vaccines or animal health).
• Knowledge of project planning tools and management science.
• Clinical Trial Management Experience
