  • 3 years of experience in partnerships, fintech, financial services, or credit

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in discussing agreements and structuring, with the ability to understand complex technical, financial, or credit products
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams to drive programs and products
  • Ability to be proactive and outward-oriented, with a bias for action and delivering
  • Ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment with excellent verbal/writen communication, presentation, and discussing agreement skills
  • Proven track record in managing partnerships and delivering results

In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and scale existing merchant credit lending partnerships.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with partners, drive feature launches/new product lines and ensure smooth integration of our services and systems, evaluation of partnership performance, drive growth and business realization from the partnership, and foster long-term relationships.
  • Develop and execute new end-to-end high impact partnerships with lenders/new engagement models on unsecured product. Expand lender base for growth.
  • Understand the needs of the market and share insights with product and marketing teams to help create and deliver new products for customers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including but not limited to, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to ensure effective collaboration and alignment towards speedy execution.
